Braiding machine FAQ
Practical answers about machine selection, configuration and ordering.
What products can a braiding machine make?
Suitable configurations can produce shoelaces, drawstrings, elastic cords and technical ropes. The finished product, yarn and required construction determine the machine configuration, so send a sample or clear product photo for selection.
How do I choose the right braiding machine?
Start with your finished product. Share the material, cord diameter or width, elastic or non-elastic construction, target output and a sample or photo. We use these requirements to confirm the model, carrier count, number of heads and winding arrangement before quotation.
Can I produce elastic cord?
Yes, with a configuration suited to elastic cord. Rubber feeding and winding requirements must be checked against the sample and confirmed in the quotation. Please tell us the cord diameter, yarn and elastic core requirements.
What information do you need for a quotation?
Send a product sample or photo, material, finished size, output target, machine quantity, destination country and required power supply. Tell us whether you need EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF pricing so the quotation uses the agreed delivery basis.
What voltage and frequency should I specify?
Provide your factory voltage, number of phases and frequency, including whether you use 50 Hz or 60 Hz. We will confirm the available electrical configuration for the selected model before the order is finalized.
What is the delivery time?
Delivery time is confirmed for each order after the model, configuration, quantity and stock availability are checked. Refer to the agreed quotation or proforma invoice for the delivery schedule of your machines.
What are your standard payment terms?
Our usual terms are 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment by T/T. The payment terms stated in the final quotation and proforma invoice apply to your order.
How do I order spare parts for an existing machine?
Send the machine model, year, nameplate photo, clear photos of the part and its key dimensions. We will check compatibility and availability before quoting. Similar-looking parts should be checked by dimensions before ordering.
